A UNIQUE SUMMER
THEATER EXPERIENCE!
2006
SUMMER
PERFORMING
ARTS
WORKSHOPS
YOU PERFORM ON A PROFESSIONAL STAGE!
Theatre Arts Center Summer Performing Arts Workshop was created in 1985 and is
unique in eastern Pennsylvania. Our students perform at
TWO professional theatres! Our
2005 summer students performed for more than 4,500
theatre-goers. This sets us apart from the typical summer
"camp." Our program immerges participants, ages 5-19, in the world of performing arts in a professional, supportive, and creative
atmosphere and is for the young performer looking for a "serious fun"
experience.
(Performers
ages 14 - 19, See ENSEMBLE program.)
Each student will rehearse and perform fully staged musicals at the charming
Sellersville Theatre 1894 in central Bucks County and at the Bristol
Riverside Theatre in Lower Bucks. Each year we commission a new musical. This
year we will premier a new family show by resident playwright John O'Hara.
The 2005 Summer Workshops performed for more than 4,500 people on two
professional stages!
EACH WORKSHOP ALSO INCLUDES classes with Theatre Arts Professionals in acting, voice, music skills, dance (ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop), on-camera technique, mime, and other
performing arts.

The workshop offers two, three, and four week sessions
of Serious FUN
9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with some Saturday performances.
Students are placed in sessions according to
age & abilities.
There is something for all levels - beginner to advanced - ages
5-19.*
