Musical Theatre

 Learn musical theatre techniques, songs and choreography from Broadway shows, combined with acting exercises.  Audition techniques reviewed in level 3 and up.

Acting

 Learn acting techniques through sensory perception exercises, theatre games, and improvisation.  Scene work, monologues, character analysis and audition technique.

The Do's & Don't of Your Child in Show Business &

 Audition Workshop

A unique workshop for parents and students.  Parents will have an opportunity to learn from show biz professionals on how to guide your child in the performing arts.  Will cover auditions, agents, managers, casting directors, photo's/resumes, and all the tools you need to understand the complicated business of stage, film, and television. Also, valuable if you are planning to audition for performing arts schools.  Special industry guests panelists.

Simultaneously, the child will attend classes in audition technique and practice cold readings, monologues, songs, dance, and how to master the audition process and what material to chose. The actor will lead through a complete audition situation.

 

Basic Jazz

 Beginner through adult for all ages.  Learn the basis for all jazz styles.

Jazz/Funk/Modern

 Advanced and Adult. Learn a variety of jazz and funk dance styles used in Broadway Shows and Music Videos.

Tap

 Beginner thru Advanced for all ages.  Traditional Broadway technique combined with contemporary styles of Rhythm & Stomp.

Hip Hop

(Several NEW classes)

 Learn the moves from dancers who have choreographed recording artists and music videos.

Adult Ballroom/Swing

Start your weekend off on the "right" foot with a fun class for singles AND couples!  

Comedy Improv

On-Camera

 Work on camera to learn acting techniques used in TV, commercials and film.

 

Mime / Clown / Mask / Comedia del Arte

 Learn LeCoq & Decroux pantommime, American & European clown styles, masks, make-up, creative movement, combat mime, acrobatics, tumbling and Comedia del Arte techniques.
