Our program immerses students, ages 7-19, in the
world of Musical Theatre and Acting in a professional,
supportive, and creative atmosphere.

The
Musical Theatre Workshop
is an intensive and takes place over four weeks of serious
FUN, July 5 - Aug. 1, 2010; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday
thru Friday. Students are
placed in one of three performance companies according to age &
ability -
ages 7-19. The
workshop culminates in a fully staged two-act musical
revue choreographed by Broadway Guest Artists.
The workshop ALSO includes classes
with working Theatre Arts Professionals in acting, voice,
dance (tap, jazz, and hip hop), on-camera acting, improv, and other performing arts. With Broadway caliber
classes, we are conveniently located in residence at
the 800-seat PROFESSIONAL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER at Queensborough
College in Bayside, Queens near LIRR, and public
transportation.

Cabaret Company Workshop is an optional Fifth
Week that focuses on individual performance
skills. Our Special
GUEST DIRECTOR
in 2009 for this workshop was Karen Mason
(left).
Karen is a Broadway, Cabaret, and Recording
Star. She was recently starring as Velma in the Broadway Company of HAIRSPRAY!

TEEN
ACTING ENSEMBLE & WORKSHOP
A
full day program for the young actor looking for a
professional experience.
This
Workshop is for young actors and actresses, ages 13
- 19, who want to focus
on acting and performance technique; non-musical /
non-dance.
The Acting
Ensemble is in residence in the Shadow
Box Theatre.
